The horror subtext of Unfinished Business was acknowledged with the announcement of the film's official selection for the 2006 Horror Fest UK film festival, held mid November.

The Horror Fest UK festival screening will be the film's European premiere, and will also be the first time it has screened at a genre-specific festival.
